As a mix engineer, I am the person responsible for incorporating all the different recorded elements of music (vocal, music, instruments, etc.) to make a song. My 21 years of professional experience and training with audio equipment which has enabled me to master the art of audio mixing. Mix engineers take the role of meshing pieces of recorded elements to achieve the optimal balance of instrumental and vocal volume, as well as frequency. Once every voice, and sound, has been recorded, I fabricate what is known as the "final mix" or "mixdown". Musicians and producers often rely on a mix engineer's extensive experience and knowledge to shape a track.
With formal training and a degree in mix engineering from Full Sail, my mixing ear comes from years of observing all kinds of sounds, frequencies and variations of effects and filters.
My talents span across R&B, Hip Hop, Country, Jazz, Gospel and Rock and Roll genres.
